Sophie is currently a fourth year Health Science major at Northeastern University. She has previously worked as an orthopedic medical assistant and interned with a clinical trial investigating a novel cancer treatment. She plans to attend medical school after graduating from NU in 2023 and hopes to be involved in clinical research as a physician. She is especially interested in rare diseases, as well as disparities in healthcare access and outcomes.
Danielle Thompson
Clinical Research Coordinator
Danielle is a pre-med candidate for a B.S. in Health Science/MPH and minor in Experience Design at Northeastern University. She previously worked as a newborn hearing screening technician at Mount Auburn Hospital, primary care research intern at Harvard Medical School Center for Primary Care, and an ENT medical scribe at the Vancouver Clinic. Her focused professional interests are health design thinking, health equity/literacy, and patient centered care. Additionally, she wants to deepen her knowledge about PSC and IBD. In the future, Danielle aims to go to medical school.
